Bryan-College Station officials said the complexity of the voting process and the tim ing of Gov. Ann Richards order for a special state election did not allow sufficient time for federal approval to combine local and state elections for early voting. College Station residents may call City Sec retary Connie Hooks at 764-3512 for more in formation. In Bryan, call City Secretary Mary Lynne Galloway at 361-3609.
