A pickpocket (Matthew Broderick) escapes from jail and hooks up with a knight (Rutger Hauer) In and amongst all the bravado, Broderick becomes the custo dian of the knight’s woman (Michelle Pfiffer). Would vou trust a thief with your most pre cious treasure? I personally wouldn't trust myself with Matthew Broderick. Really a good movie once the credits fin ish at the beginning. R. G BEVERLY HILLS COP: How much money can this movie make? That seems to be the only question left. Eddie Murphy stars as a Detroit cop who follows the trail of a f riend s killer to Be verly Hills. This is a comedy- thriller with tons of action and Murphy is great as always. Only Eddie coulcl wear the same shirt throughout Beverly Hills and not look tacky. They won’t get their licenses back until they pass the God- aw- fui “last test.” I’m not proud — this movie just doesn’t look too terribly interesting to me. But don’t let me stop you. PG. THE LAST DRAGON; Barry j Gordy, of Motown fame, pro- j duces this one about a young j practitioner of martial arts who \ reaches the level of “The Glow Along the way, he is sung to by Vanity, DeBarge and other Motown stars.
