Nor have I looked up at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or out across the broad Sahara to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Most of my life, as a matter of fact, has been spent right here in my own town. Not because I don’t want to travel. To visit these faraway places is one of my big desires—and, one day, I hope to do it. But I know, deep In my heart, that if I never leave my home town I’ll have more to do than I can thope to accomplish. Because God is just as much !here as he is anywhere. Our minister used that thought in his sermon last Sunday, and he told us liow much there is for all of us to do in our own particular place—and how much remains undone! If we’d bring just one other person to church With us on Sunday, we’d really be doing something, lie told us. And, as I thought it over, I knew how true that was. / ^That’s T^hy Fm asking you* ^&pyrig%l loss, Keister Ativ. Service, Strasburg, Va? THE CHURCH FOR ALt . . . ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church ii (he greatest factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization cart survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They are: (1) For his own salce<. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs bis moral and material support.
