Sanderson is a former schoolboy star from Nederland and lost his first outing to the Tarleton Plow- boys, 7-3, last Friday. The record for the Fish now stands at 1-1, having defeated the University of Dallas Crusaders Sat urday, 18-9, and losing to Tarle ton. Houchin is a lefthanded, smooth- fielding first baseman fro m Shreveport and has a good eye at the plate. He rapped out two hits in the Tarleton game and singled in a run against Dallas. Patterson and Plumlee, two Dal las products, are fine prospects at the keystone sack. Plumlee is a mid-semester graduate of Sunset High who picked up three hits and batted in five runs, three of them on a first inning homer against Dallas. Turpin doubled against Tarleton. Coach Palmer will start an out field consisting of Bill Clifford in left, Jess Foster in center and J. B. Carroll in right. Clifford bat ted two for three in the Dallas tilt, including an inside-the-park homer. Gerald Walling will start at catcher.
