Abbott, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, are attending a four day meeting of the Southern As sociation of Colleges and Univer sities. The meeting is being held in Memphis, Tenn. ,4-^ ; — Mrs. Roberts Speaks At Newcomers Meeting Mrs. Jacco Roberts spoke to the Newcomers Club on Christmas dec orations and plants yesterday in the YMCA. But the Tigers’ coach added, “I’m not sure of my starters either.” Among the top Consolidated players are Joe Motheral, Bobby Jackson, David Bonnen, Fred An derson, Byron Andrews and Pinky Conner. • The Tigers start district play Saturday against Milano. They al so will participate in a tournament at Madisonville Dec. 12-13. The annual invitation tournament spon sored by the College Station Ki- wanis Club will be held Jan. 2-3. Barnes (Huh Plans Christmas Party Members of the Dames Club made plans for their annual Christ mas party and dance at a called meeting.in the YMCA Tuesday. The semi-formal dance will be in . the MSC at 8:30 p. m. Friday. Gifts will be exchanged and car ols sung around a/tree; Husbands and guests will be invited, said Mi's. Elinor Holland, president. Members of the committee plan ning the social are Mesdames Nickie Wolff, chairman, Marge Dolan and Marion Morales.
