This position will be responsible for prototyping key initiatives utilizing the following technologies to show proof of concepts. Candidate will need to under stand and have a minimum 3 years experience with: SONET/SDH, ADMs, DACs, ESCON, 1/10 Ethernet, 2.5/10Gb SONET, RAMAN amplification, FEC modulation schemes, and basic networking. Also, the candidate must have strong UNIX skills. Candidates must possess a college degree in the following disciplines: Electrical Engi neering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
