YOU’RE TURNING ME BEET-REP// GOOD/ NOW TP tickled pm' \ wm VOCOM Continued from Page 1 Gilbert Schorlemmer, a student worker in the financial aid office and a political science and eco nomics major, said VOCOM should alleviate some of the frus tration in the financial aid office. “The lines are avoided,” Schor lemmer said. “You come here (fi nancial aid office) and you used to have to wait in long lines.” Unlike the registration system, students can transfer to a human operator at any time during the VOCOM process. “VOCOM is going to facilitate getting our customers where they need to be,” Lawson said. Schorlemmer said the only drawback of VOCOM is its tie to the phone registration system. During peak registration hours, VOCOM could be inaccessible to some students, he said.
