Personnel who served during that period in the Middle East are next on the priority list, fol lowed by personnel on active duty in places other than the Middle East. Spouses and chil dren of those who served on ac tive military duty during that time also are eligible for the award. A&M President William Mob ley said the servicemen and women returning to A&M will benefit greatly from the schol arship. "It is indeed a fitting tribute to the men and women who so gal lantly served in our armed forces during that crucial period," Mobley said. Scholarships will be awarded Continued from page 1 to full-time students pursuing undergraduate degrees, Murray explained. Recipients will be selected by University officials on the basis of personal achievement and acaaemic performance, he said. Murray said the grants would supplement, not replace, federal or state financial resources for I which a Mobil Scholar also might be eligible.
