With the (College Station Hilton substituting for an English manor, guests from Texas A&M and the community are entertained in the gallery for an hour before the feast by roving jugglers, singers and magi cians. Men in maroon and lavender tights hurled red, yellow, and blue Indian clubs past the ears of one nervous man, while the troupe per formed a chorus of Christmas carols. Wednesday through Saturday night MSC Madrigal Dinners is pull ing together this witty and talented group Of 40 perf ormers, who mean der between tables poking fun at the audience and making sure the rules of the f east are enforced. Yes, there are rules, hut mother would never approve of them. The presiding Lord and Lady Ra leigh of Nottingham require their 400 dinner companions to use only a knife and their fingers to eat the “sallat, larsed feasant, lemonwhyt, diplomatic pudding and new pota toes and sauce." Napkins are to be worn over the left shoulder so that a guest can properly wipe his beard without em ploying his already greasy fingers. But no matter!
