Franz Joseph Haydn, Aus trian composer, was one of the greatest masters of classical music. Haydn’s works are no table for their originality, liveli ness and optimism. He estab lished the basic forms of symphonic music, which would be the model and inspi ration for Mozart and Beetho ven. His two oratorios, The Cre ation (1798) and The Seasons (1801), were written late in his life. An oratorio is a dramatic musical composition, usually religious in theme, that con sists of arias, recited pieces, duets, trios and choruses sung to orchestral accompaniment. It is presented without staging, scenery or costumes. Tickets for the performance are on sale at the MSC Box Of fice and at Prioriteas Coffee and Tea Specialty Shop in Bryan. All seats are reserved — $5 for students and senior citi zens; $6 for adults. For more information call the Box Office, 845- 1234 or the Brazos Vallty Symphony Orchestra office, 846- 7659A
