Dorothy Scrivano, 53, and LaWayne Bancker 45, who work together and share a house with Mis. Scrivano’s hus band in the Dallas suburb, were formally charged Wednesday and held in the Dallas County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond each. They were arrested Tuesday afternoon in an east Dallas parking lot on charges they paid $1,100 to a police officer posing as a hit man. . Mrs. Scrivano offered $5,000 to have her husband killed, po lice said, and Mrs. Bancker of fered $10,000 to have her hus band slain. Li. W.R. Patterson said they agreed to pay the balance after collecting on their husbands’ in surance policies. “The women wanted their husbands killed as soon as possi ble," said Dallas police Sgl.
