Purchase tickets in front of Rudder Fountain. A scholarship in memory of James Walter Lee, 26, of Bryan, has been established by his col leagues and friends. Lee, a graduate student in poultry science, was killed in a car accident Saturday night near the intersection of FM 60 and FM 2818. He was a 1980 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor of science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. Helicopter crash kills five Marines from Texa United Press International WERTSDORF, Germany — A helicopter carrying five U.S. Marines from Texas went down along the Danish coast Tuesday, killing all passengers. Victims were the pilot, Capt. William H. Coke, 35, of Hurst; crew member Sgt. Timothy A. Creighton, 23, of Grand Prairie; co-pilot Capt. James B. Huff, 31, of The Colony; crew member Staff Sgt. Gary J. Lester, 25, of Arlington; and Cmdr. David R. Morrison, 47, of Brownwood. The men were part of the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 777 out of Marine Aircraft Group 41 in Dallas par ticipating in NATO maneuvers. A military spokesman said the CH-53A helicopter the men were flying went down off west ern Jutland, Denmark. “The aircraft crashed as it was returning to the USS Guad- al Canal from a shuttle run to the beach during an amphibious operation,” a Marine statement said.” Officials at Fort Riley, Kan., identified the dead as Pfc. Charles Kenealy of Louisville, Ky., and Lt. Col. Howard Quig ley of Cape Coral, Fla. Both men were assigned to the 1st Batta lion, 7th Field Artillery of the 1st Infantry Division. Quigley was promoted posthumously from major. In another exercise-related accident, an unidentified Ger man motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a military vehicle.
