Authorities in Bonham cap tured a convict Tuesday who escaped with Wilson from the Washington Parish Jail in Boga- lusa, La., April 18. Wilson and Roy James Hill, 35, were wanted by federal au thorities for questioning in the kidnapping of Jennifer Barden, 9, from Gallatin, Mo. Saturday. They are also suspected in a multi-state crime spree involv ing car theft, escape, evading arrest in Texas and burglary of a Savoy school. Hill was captured in a 100- mph chase that ended when his stolen getaway car rammed head-on into a police vehicle in Gober, eight miles southeast of Bonham. Wilson escaped and was believed to have fled the Bonham area, which is about 200 miles from Mira. Wilson was awaiting transfer to the Louisiana State Penitenti ary for the rape of a girl, 8, and Hill was awaiting sentencing on several counts of burglary and a previous jailbreak. Hill was being held under $100,000 bond in the Grayson County Jail. Local and federal lawmen questioned Hill and searched his car, stolen from Ponca City, Okla., and bearing plates stolen in Nebraska. They declined to say what they learned about the whereabouts of the missing girl. She was last seen climbing into a green pickup truck after chasing a toy into a Gallatin street. — mtown alo ou, near th jmas Com ieJones Hal s (syinpho ice Alley ater) and “It will be district He said $: ^^aBonated Fancy staff photo by Peteti forming ar r i Ham The root-work ■ Marcus Ollington, from Manhattan, Kansas a “hacky-sack” which is a leather ball filled cork pieces.
