A telephone caller who “be lieved a murder had occurred” led investigators to the bodies of Arthur W. Knappertz and his wife, Valerie, 68, an investigator said.' The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has ruled that Knappertz died of a blow to the head, although he also had been stabbed in the chest. Mrs. Knap pertz, a diabetic who had both legs amputated, was stabbed in the chest. by forcing her to sleep in the family van, officials said. Carrollton police investigator Donny Watts said Har Hey, ab out 27, apparently took the child out to the van and ordered her to go to sleep before killing his wife, Teng Meng Hey, about 25, and himself in an apparent homicide-suicide. Both had been shot once in the head with a .22-caliber revol ver near Hey’s body in the cou ple’s apartment bedroom. Ronald G. Lazenby, 7, will be honored Friday at the Heights Elementary School in Texas City with one of the rarest awards presented by BSA, the Honor Medal for Lifesaving. Officials said Lazenby, third grader, awoke last June 14 about 2 a.m., and found his bedroom engulfed in flames.
