The seven skits are put on by the Texas Actors Theatre. The first skit is a retelling of the first chapters of the Book of Genesis from the Bible. William Weldon, who was recently seen as Lenny Bruce, plays God in the form of a construction worker. David Walker plays Satan. The second, entitled “The Clean Up,” is about three junkies who will shoot up anything they can get their hands on, including peanut butter and cat hair. In the third play, Ellen Dowling portrays a liber ated secretary who gets back at the office lecher. Then, Steve Thomas and Sharon Barrow act out a typical husband-wife argument by describing their lines and giving stage directions. “The Tridget of Greva,” translated from the Squinch by Ring Gardner, contains one of the oddest casts ever assembled, including the Tridget, a Wham Salesman and a Corn Vitter. Then, Dowling and Thomas portray a perfectly matched couple in “Computer Date.” The final piece in the revue is Woody Allen’s “Death Knocks ”, a parody of Ingmar Bergmann’s “The Seventh Seal, ” with Death playing gin rummy instead of chess. Admission for the two shows, at 8:30 and 11 p.m., is $2.00. id the Republicacj :ansare verybigi icy figured to me of us are mat Co-op opens new Mocation Saturday are really a r.stand or pracfcl tainly not forthe* its coddle, an in a wheeldil in North Carolisl you know theRt; | ly gauche andsav | pped.” irty like thatsei take either ngton Post G™ ildh conduct for the si ne that he thougl excessive, butw| nit could be i opinion the la le into pleadingfl * would call JPPti mi the bond was■ by BECKY SWANSON Battalion Staff Arts, crafts, plants and a bake sale will highlight the grand opening of the Brazos Valley Food Co-op in its new location this Saturday.
