WTTW in Chicago was particu larly' vehement in its reaction against the film. William J. McCar ter has called the program offensive propaganda, according th Sara Re itz, a public information associate for PBS. Reitz said the film contains no editorial opinion, the film makers shot events as they were happening. The PBS representative said she did not think the film expresses any ideas well enough for anyone to be come interested in the movement. At least two Texas stations will broadcast the film. Virginia Mampre, program direc tor for KUfIT in Houston, said the station will carry' the show, but they will not broadcast it until November. She said that the viewers should be able to decide if they' wanted to watch the film. KLRN in Austin will broadcast the film Oct. 28 at 11 p.m., said Barbara Ritter, program associate. She said it was a “good show. KLRN is showing a Jewish film, “L’chiam — To Life” the same night. Ritter said the two films should give a good overall viewpoint. Charles Mayday, program direc tor at WNHT in Schenectady, N.Y., disagreed with Ritter. He said a Jewish film and a Nazi film woidd not show two sides of the story. “What is needed is another look at INTER-VARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP Friday evenings 7:00 at Rudder Tower #301 Small group Bible studies Mon.-Thurs.
