In a speech marking his coun try’s 30th anniversary, Kim called on the United States and South Korea to agree to tripartite talks aimed at reunification. Kim indicated that the two Koreans could continue mainte nance of separate political sys tems under reunification, accord ing to the official North Korean News Agency, which reported his remarks. “We leave the door open for a conversation with the United States and with the South Ko rean authorities and political par ties, too,” Kim told a rally at tended by visiting Chinese, Soviet and other Communist dignitaries. “We will not impose our socialist system and Communist ideology on South Korea,” he added. “We are ready to pro mote unity with any political party in South Korea according to the idea of great national unity.” Kim’s call was neither new nor calculated to draw a favorable re sponse from South Korea, which has rejected the idea of reunifica tion with its Communist neighbor in the past. Kim for his part rejected a South Korean proposal for an economic cooperation pact with the north as “a clumsy trick by the separatists to camouflage their true colors.” University Women honored r COM E rxx ,-=x»c ixk: BACK A Q Gl£ s ^UcYKfirtgie-^a Wu in BUSINESS COLLEGE n , a** <sar * Inquire About Our Term Starting September 26 Phone 822-6423 or 822-2368 FOR THE BEST FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES IN TOWN THE FARM PATCH 3519 S.
