( MARCH ) March 1, Tuesday, Classic THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. (1923-silent) 90 min. Lon Chaney, Patsy Ruth Miller. In this million and a half dollar super production, Chaney became a top ranking star. March 4 & 5, Friday & Saturday, Popular THE ADVENTURE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES’ SMARTER BROTHER. (1976) 91 min. Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman, Don De Luise. What Mel Brooks did to Frankenstein, Wilder does to Sherlock Holmes. Rudder Auditorium. March 6, Sunday, Matinee BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUN DANCE KID. (1969) 112 rpin. Paul New man, Robert Redford, Katharine Ross. Part parody, part tragedy, part fiction, part fact, this movie features Nvo bank robbers caught out of their element when the old West closes at the turn of the century. 2:00 p.m. Rudder Theater. March 8, Tuesday, Classic LOTS OF LAUGHS. Because of the suc cess of last semester’s “Night of Comedy,” Aggie Cinema is bringing two hours of com edy shorts and favorite cartoons. Winner of two Academy Awards. 8:00 p.m. Rudder Theater. March 22, Tuesday, Classic STAGECOACH. (1939) 95 min. John Wayne, Claire Trevor. Wayne skyrocketed to stardom with his portrayal of the Ringo Kid, a notorious gunman who joins a half dozen very different passengers on the Overland stage, making a dangerous jour ney across hostile Indian territory. Thomas Mitchell won an Oscar for his performance as a drunken doctor in this exciting motion picture. 8:00 p.m. Rudder Theater. March 23, Wednesday, International TWELFTH NIGHT. (1956) 88 min. Douglas Fairbanks. Fairbanks plays Don Diego, a tiresome dandy in public, who is secretly the feared Zorro. When Robin returns to Sherwood Forest after 20 years of fighting in the Crusades, he finds Marian, now a nun, im prisoned in Nottingham Castle. April 19, Tuesday, Classic MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON. (1939) 95 min. James Stewart, Jean Arthur. Jefferson Smith an idealistic Boy Scout leader, comes to Washington as a short term senator and faces the reality of corrupt national politics.
