He continued by saying that the job would include aiding the SG president in any manner the president deemed necessary. Ex pansion and maintenance of pres ent projects are of equal impor tance, but other groups within the Student Government must make the request for the services of the various divisions under the executive director. Some of the projects under the supervision of the executive di rector include Muster, the blood drive, professor evaluation and textbook exchange. These are projects that were begun this year and will be continued next year. Taylor said he is already get ting the rooms for next year’s book exchange. He also said he was considering several different systems for the exchange. “There are several good ways that different schools are Using, but they all have their disadvan tages,” said Taylor. The surveys will be kept in a library in the Student Govern- nient office. “We plan to do research in the social as well as political area,” said Taylor. “Anyone can re quest any kind of research, I guess.” The director of elections will do the job of the old election board chairman, Taylor ex plained. He expressed a desire to have elections that would result in as few appeals as possible. “I know there will always be problems but we need to keep them to a minimum,” Taylor said. He said his major qualifications for the position include perfect attendance to all Judicial Board meetings, participation on this year’s study of all on-campus ju dicial systems, member of Review Board B (decides fiscal cases), member of the Academic Appeals Panel, author of the by-laws for next year’s Judicial Board and next year’s president of the A&M Student Civil Liberties Union. McRoberts said his qualifica tions include one year as campus projects chairman, a resident ad visor and head resident advisor, member of Puryear judicial board as a sophomore, vice chairman on the Student Services Fees alloca tions committee and student in surance study committee. Perrin said he wants to estab lish a Grand Jury system, a stu dent attorney general, a court docket and a printed list of court procedures. McRoberts said he would estab lish an attorney general and a system with a SG prosecutor.
