CITY ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NO. 454 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION OP REZONING LOTS 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, AND 9 OF BLOCK 1 TAUBER ADDITION FROM NO. 2 SECOND DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT TO NO. 3 APART MENT HOUSE DISTRICT. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the city of Collegre Station, Texas : WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zon ing Commission has recommended that that land described herein be rezoned as No. 3 Apartment House District. It is hereby ordered that a public hear ing shall be held in the City Hall at 7 :00 P, M. on March 28, 1966, on rezoning certain areas within the city limits, more particularly described as follows: Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of Bl Tauber Addition, presently zoned as Di No. 2, Second Dwelling House District, to District No. 3 Apartment House District. Notice of said hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city of College Station at least fifteen days prior to date of hearing. That’s colder than summertime in Siberia. Liquid helium is used as a sci entific tool in experiments. The property of matter is such that, when exposed to extremely cold temperatures, its molecular ac tion is slowed down and thus is available for closer study. So far, Rice, the University of Texas and Louisiana State Uni versity are the only other ones in the Southwest which have cyrostats. The whole unit cost $15,000. A&M paid for it, with half the money coming from the National Science Foundation through its grants to graduate schools and the other half allocated to A&M by the state legislature. Consolidated Club On Mexican Visit The Club Castellano Spanish club of A&M Consolidated High School is attending the sixth an nual assembly of the Internation al Good Neighbor Youth Council itt Monterrey, Mexico. The students attending from the College Station area are ex pected to renew acquaintances with several Mexican students who spent a week here in Janu ary. The group will return home Sunday.
