Stewart, associate professor of business administra tion, will be the “Last Lecture” Series speaker at 6 p.m. Monday in the YMCA Building, general secretary J. Gordon Gay has an nounced. German Designer Here For Month A special consultant from Ger many’s top school of design will arrive Monday for a month’s stay at Texas A&M. Herbert Ohl, head of the build ing department for Hochschule Fur Gestaltung in Ulm, will assist on a hospital design project by the Research Graduate Center of A&M’s School of Archi tecture. Architecture Chairman Ed Ro- mieniec, who made the announce ment, noted that this marks the third visit to A&M by Ohl. Monroe To Speak At SFA Banquet Dr. Haskell M. Monroe will be guest speaker at the spring ban quet of Phi Alpha Theta, honor ary history fraternity at Stephen F. Austin State College. Monroe, assistant dean of the Graduate College, will be guest speaker at the banquet here March 5. He received both his bachelors and masters degrees from Austin College in Sherman, and his doctorate degree from Rice University. Monroe is editor of “The Papers of Jefferson Davis,” a projected 15-volume collection of the speeches, letters, and other meetings of the Mississippi sena tor, Secretary of War and Con federate president. PE Club Members Attend Convention Five Physical Education Club members will participate in the Southern District Convention of the American Association of Health, Physical Education and Recreation Thursday through Sunday at Louisville, Ky. They include President Joe Webb, Secretary-Treasurer Mike Overton, Program Chairman Johnny Bickham, senior repre sentative Frank McCoy and Dick Barnett. C. E. Tishler, department head, will accompany the delegates. MSC Bowling Meet Winners Announced Winners in the annual Memo rial Student Center Bowling Tournament have been announced by M. W. Smith, MSC games room manager. Jim Milstead of San Antonio blasted 1,099 pins in five games to capture first place and a $20 gift certificate. Bob Brandt of Texas City post ed 1,090 pins for second place and a $10 certificate. Richard Rassmussen took third with 1,064 pins. He won a $5 certificate. Stewart Wins Stock Contest Robert Stewart, a Houston banker who serves on Texas A&M’s investment committee, won a crystal-ball gazing contest by coming within a hair’s breadth of predicting the 1965 closing of Dow-Jones Industrials. The advisor is senior vice president and manager of the loan and investment division of the Bank of the Southwest. Hensarling Writes Food Service Article Dr. Paul Hensarling authored an article for the February, 1966, issue of “School Management.” “How Good or Bad Is Your Food Service Operation” gives a checklist developed and used by Texas schoolmen for evaluating food service management. It in cludes questions concerning or ganization and administration, food service facilities, business practices and health and sani tation. Hensarling heads the Depart ment of Education and Psychol ogy. McGuire To Address Engineering Club Professor J. G. McGuire, assist ant dean of engineering, will dis cuss cooperative engineering edu cation at Thursday’s meeting of the Texas A&M chapter of the American Association of Engi neering Educators.
