Many of those boys are back and the Eagles have the momentum, but this time they won’t be able to ease by anybody. Everybody will be pointing for them. SPORTS SECTION THE Thursday, September 5, 1963 BATTALION College Station, Texas Page 5 Ex-A&M Gridderst Help Pro Eagles Aggie alumni of the Southwest Conference grid wars have been doing a good job of showing the pros what boys from Texas can do. The Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League seem to have a preference for Lone Star State’s with four SWC rookies on their roster. Best bet for a steady job is Aggie graduate Mike Clark. Clark has nailed down the kicking duties after leading A&M in scoring his senior year and breaking SWC field goal records. Another Aggie-ex, Lee Roy Caf- fey, will be seeing a lot of action as a linebacker for the Eagles. White Magic Detergent Clothes white, dishes bright.
