Consolidated Band Carnival Offers Varid Attractions Mark clown Saturday night on your calendar for a night of fun at A&M Consolidated School. This is the night of the Band Carnival which begins at 5:30 p.m. According to Dr. and Mrs. John Sperry, co-chairmen, this year’s carnival holds many new attrac tions that will make this event more enjoyable for all attending. The A&M Consolidated Band will give a brief concert to set the carnival in motion, followed by a performance by the Bengal Belles. A four-act variety show, Featur ing vocal and instrumental talent, magic acts, and ministrel routines^ will be performed three times dur ing the evening—at 7:15, 7:45 and 8:15. James Baldauf will be mas ter of ceremonies. Wagon rides will be under the management of E. L. Harvel and J. 0. Alexander. A tattoo booth, conducted by T. W. Bishop, and portrait painting by Don Brents, A&M architectural student, are other new specialties. All proceeds from the carnival will go toward expenses of the band.
