Methodist Church Honors New Pastor With Reception Hawkins, Mrs. Ben Milam, Mrs. R. H. Mitchell and Mrs. M. C. Schroeder. Mrs. Tom Taylor was in charge of table decorations. The Argues are now at home to the community in the parsonage of the A&M Methodist Church in College Station. The Rev. James B. Argue and his family were honored with a reception given by the entire congregation of the A&M Methodist Church Sunday afternoon in the Wesley Foundation Building. Occasion for the affair was the Rev. Argue’s first Sunday of service as pastor of the' church, after coming from the Foster Place Methodist Church in Houston. The Rev. and Mrs. Argue, their son, Jim, and daughter, Marsha Lynn, received the congregation with the assistance of Mr. and Mrs. Murray A. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Marc Davenport, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Gordon Gay. In charge of arrangements for the reception was the fellowship committee of the Woman’s Society of Christian Service, under the leadership of the vice president, Mrs. Jarvis Miller. This gi'oup was assisted by the fellowship commit tee of the official board, headed by R. L. Elkins. Presiding at the tea table were the four circle chairmen of the Woman’s Society: Mi’s.' Leslie V.
