Midland Hometown Club will meet in the Reading Room of the YMCA to complete plans for a Christmas Party. El Paso Hometown Club will meet in room 3D of the MSC to see film and complete party plans. 7:30 p. m. San Angelo-West Texas Home town Club will meet in room 304 of the Agricultural Building. Collegiate 4-H Club will meet in the Birch Room of the MSC. Abilene Hometown Club will in room 208 of the Academic Build ing to discuss party plans. Northeast Texas Hometown Club will meet in room 203 of the Aca demic Building to discuss party plans. Brazoria County Hometown Club will meet in room 303 of the Aca demic Building to discuss party plans. Marshall Hometown Club will meet in the YMCA to complete party plans for the holidays. Yankee Hometown Club will meet in room 205 of the Academic Building. Panhandle Club will meet in the Academic Building. Kaufman County Club will meet in room 214 of dormitory 8. Lamar Hometown Club will meet in room 103 of the Academic Build ing to issue membership cards, priced at $2 each, and complete plans for Christmas party. East Texas A&M Club will meet in room 207 of the Academic Build ing for last meeting of the year to plan New Year’s party. Amarillo Hometown Club will meet in room 307 of the Academic Building to discuss party plans. Land of the Lakes Club will meet in room 10G of the Academic Build ing to discuss plans for the Aggie- land and Christmas party. San Antonio Hometown Club will meet in room 127 of the Aca demic Building to complete party plans. Society of American Military En gineers will meet in the Civil En gineering Building. General S. J. Buchanan will speak on “The Mil itary Engineer”. Refreshments will be served. Henderson County Club meets in Bagley Hall. Former Student Funds Rank 4th A&M’s former student fund ranked fourth in total gifts re ceived among 42 state university alumni funds in 1955. The college had 8,452 former students giving a total of $136,G25 to the fund. Only Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan were ranked above A&M in the tabulation. Other schools ranking in the top eight were Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Auburn, and Minnesota. Reports are that the top eight schools are still ahead this year in total gifts contributed to their alumni funds. The Ph.D. hoods wili not be worn in the procession since all such candidates will be hooded on the stage. Candidates for the Master’s Degree will wear the master’s cap and gown; those who both are candidates for the Bachelor’s Degree, except military students, will wear the bachelor’s cap and gown. All military students who are candidates for degrees will wear the appropriate military uniform. Renta] of caps and gowns may be ar ranged with the Exchange Store. Orders may be placed between 8 a.m., Dec. 10, and 12 noon, Saturday, Jan. 12. The ren tal is as follows: doctor’s cap and gown S4.25, master’s cap and gown $3.75, bach elor’s cap and gown S3.25.
