The new directory carries seven-digit numbers; two let ters and five digits. Bryan numbers carry the prefix TA fol lowed by five figures. College Station numbers carry the pre fix VI followed by five figures. Steele Store numbers carry the prefix KE followed by five figures. The letter (B) in parenthesis designates Bryan address with a College Station telephone number. The box at the left appears on every odd-numbered page in the di rectory. TA designates the prefix Taylor VI designates the prefix Victor KE designates the prefix Key stone. Due to the Christmas mail rush the 'delivery will be slower than usual, but all subscribers should have their directory be fore December 28, which is the date set for Bryan and College Station to go on the metropolitan-numbering plan at 10:00 P.M. This numbering plan will enable Bryan and College Sta tion to tie into the Nationwide Inter-Toll Dialing network in the very near future. If your direcory is not received before December 28, please notify the Business Office. They will see that you receive one immediately. IK iSlTC Tournament in Houston Ags Resume Play Jan. 28 A&M’s cagers are taking things easy, except for practice, for awhile with no games scheduled until the Southwestern Conference Tournament at Houston Dec. 28-30. The Aggies haven’t played an opponent since absorbing a 78-44 drubbing at the hands of the Uni versity of Houston Cougars Dec. 14. The loss gave Coach Ken Loeffler’s Cadets a 2-won, 4-lost record. A&M will open up in the pre season tuornament in the Rice gymn against the high-flying Owls, led by the 6-10 sophomore sensa tion, Temple Tucker. A&M is led by center Fritzie Connally, who has scored 73 points in the Aggies’ five games this sea son, roping in 26 field goals and 21 free shots. Forward Bill Brophy is just behind Connally with 69 points this year. He was the lead ing scorer for the Aggies last year with 336 points. The Aggies return to White Col iseum Jan. 4 for the opening of the conference chase against the Bears from Waco. Moving back to Houston Jan. 7 to battle Rice, they’ll go on to Dallas and SMU on Jan. 10 before returning to the Ike’s Christmas Cards Are Blue GETTYSBURG, Pa. — CP) — The Eisenhowers’ Christmas cards this year are in the bright blue of the presidential flag, with the presi dential seal and “Season’s Greet ings 1955” on the front. The Fish then move to Houston along with their big broth ers Jan. 7 to play Rice’s Slimes, and then will start the night’s ac tivities here Jan. 13 against the Texas Shorthorns.
