By RONNIE GREATHOUSE Battalion Sports Editor A&M’s first and second teams took things easy yesterday after running-up the widest Aggie vic tory margin since 1951 in last Sat urday night’s 28-0 conquest of LSU. ‘T want to compliment every body,” said Coach Paul Bryapt yes terday, after reviewing the LSU game film, “That line! They all played well.” The aroused Aggie forward wall, spear-headed by Lloyd Hale, Jack Powell, Charles Krueger, Dee Pow ell, Murry Trimble, Jim Stanley and Dennis Goehring kept the vaunted LSU backfield on its back most of the night. The Bayou Ben- gals netted only 18 yards on the ground in the first half. As for LSU’s heralded passing attack—it never materialized. The Tigers scored late in the second quarter after a bad pass from center gave them possession on the Navasota eight. Fullback Bill Kavanaugh blasted over from the one and Norman Floeck con verted. The Rattlers scored in both the third and fourth quarters to take a commanding 27-7 lead.
