He has ever sought a stbirway to God. • For nearly 'S^. gp- two thousand years the Christian religion has pointed man tp such a ^jss r Stairway. And through the centuries millions have climbed it. • But mil lions have not! And the reason they have not is the most serious problem that faces the Church and the world today: • You see, the only stairway to God is FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON. And Faith is not something which men can possess collectively, as all Americans possess freedom. Faith is something we can only possess individually like life itself, a The man who lacks it is dead, even though millions around him / %. possess it. • The faith of your wife, or your father, or your ^ son, or your nation is not—for you 1 —a stairway to God, : f \ <; Christ has given you the Church to plant and culti vate faith in your heart. ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the greatest fac tor on earth for the building of qbaracter and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can Survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and sup port the Church. They are: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself. Which needs his moral and ma terial support. Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily. « I 00 . k Cbsptsr Vsrtes Sunday.*. Psalm# 4# j.j Monday...Luke JO 2S-37 Tuesday . . Luke |g j.jq Wednesd'yRoman* * 1j.2i Thursday.
