The supper will be followed by a family Lenten service in the chapel at 7:15 p.m. The Women’s Missionary so ciety will meet tonight at 7:30 in Our Saviour’s Lutheran church to hear Mrs. John Vitopil lead the topic “The Meaning of the Altar in Our Lutheran Church.” Mrs. Henry Egelbrecht will be the de votional leader and hostesses will be Mesdames L. E. Hearne, Ma jor Friedrich, and M. A. Jandt. The Lenten worship seiwice will be at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, the theme being, “On Trial Before the High Priest.” The Texas State Consultative committee on Luth eran student work will meet in the church at 11 a.m. Thursday. —o— The Christian Science social meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Week day mass is held each morning at 6:45 at St. Mary’s Catholic chapel. Wednesday even ing service is at 7:15. After Wed nesday service the Newman club meets at the St. Mary’s Student center. Sunday school teachers group A will meet at 7:30 tonight in the Bethel Lutheran church. Lenten services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Chapman is the DIRECTOR—Mrs. Beverley Braley will direct and stage the 1955 Cotton Ball Pageant to be held in the G. Rollie White coliseum April 29 before the Cotton Ball. Saturday night, lifer’s win in the backstroke—by a hair over SMU’s Dick Snelling—pulled the Cadets into a 68-68 tie with Texas. Hunk- ler’s first and Don Horne’s third in the 100-yard freestyle put the Aggies ahead 86-81, after Bill Bed- foi’d and Wally Penberthy were third and foui’th in the 200-yard butterfly. The Whites took the k ickoff right back, scoring with about two minutes left after a 61 yard march. Hall scored from the 6 on the same trap play, blasting through about six tacklers. Taylor converted for the winning point.
