Students Say Reading Aids School Work In a questionnaire recently sent to students who had taken Re medial Reading, a great majority reported that the course had def- *initely made their school work easier. Of the 376 students returning the questionnaire, 97 percent said the course had improved their reading skill, 87 percent said it made their studying assignments easier, and 58 percent said it had improved their grades. Dr. A. J. Kingston, director of Remedial reading, said the stu dents are to be commended for their splendid response, as only 14 students taking the course the previous semester failed to return the questionnaire. Remedial Reading, initiated on a trial basis in 1950, has grown from a non credit-hour course, with only 75 students, to a one hour course in which 433 students are cur rently enrolled. A total of 910 students have taken the course for credit. ONE Mido Wrist Watch with metal band between petroleum engineering building and MSC. Reward. John P. Thomas, Box 4766, College Station.
