Cox, State Health Officer, says that there are count less ways of spreading colds other than hy coughing, spitting, and sneezing. The Doctor advises, ‘‘If a member of your family has a cold and the other members share a common drinkine glass with him, you may expect the whole family, to pick up the germs he leaves on the glass. “Sometimes a person with a cold thoughUessly touches his mouth or nostrils with his hand, and then shakes hands with anoth er person. That person will prob ably contaminate his own mouth and nostrils With his hand, and the germs will be transmitted-into his own system. “Children, as well as adults, who arc suffering from a cold should be put to bed. If complete rest, light food, and plenty of liq uids do not improve his condition in a short time, the family physi cian should,be called."; said 1 woull 1 I ill In characters from May. • 1 may you •ted the ttaulc — : Tessies >68 Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mv?
