Meeting the Rice fencers in the epee and saber matches proved a little harder for the Aggies. Two Owl Fencers, Chcrico and Carpen ter, held the A&M squad to a 4-4 tbuch tie. The last and final match was decided in favor of the Aggies, who won the tilt 5-4, Harold Van' Buekirk, formerly on the Olympic Saber Team, direc ted the varsity, while V. L.
