E. Bowers, secretary. All Landscape students are urged to attend. Official Notices Each candidate for the Master of Science degree who expects to complete the re quirements for his degree in the current semester should present to the Dean of the Graduate School his completed thesis, ap proved by the head of his major depart ment, on or before April 30, 1946. All candidates for graduate degrees at the end of the current semester, who have not done so, should file notice of their ex pectation with the Dean of the Graduate School without delay. T. D. Brooks, Dean of the Graduate School OFFICE OF DEAN OF MEN Memorandum No. 32 : Subject: Dance Accommodations for Ladies To: All students 1. In compliance with the request of the Committee in charge, Law Hall will be used to provide accommodations for visiting girls attending the dances on FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights, 29 and 30 March, 1946. 2. Students having guests will be as sessed a charge of $1.00 per night per guest to cover cost of matron, maid serv ice, and other incidental expenses. Refunds cannot be made. 3. Guests staying in the dormitory must be in not later than 2 a.m. FRIDAY night and 1 a.m., SATURDAY night. Guests must check in with the matron upon their return to the dormitory after the dances. When reservations have been made for the guests, they will not be permitted to check out until departure for their homes. This will be done with the matron. Escorts will be held strictly accountable for compliance with these in structions. 4. Linen, towels, lights, etc., will be furnished by the College. Students will be held accountable for this equipment. 6. Guests will be admitted to their rooms at 4 p.m., FRIDAY, 29 March, and must be vacated by 11 :30 a.m., Sunday, 31 March. The College cannot be respon sible for personal property of any guest or student. 6. It was a business session for the purpose of electing officers. William L. Surovik, Jr., was elected President, Raymond Hawthorne, Vice-President, and Leon Grosjean, Secretary-Treas urer. At the next meeting April 9, Dr. Fred W. Jensen of the Chemistry Dpartment will speak on “Atomic Energy”. At a later date R. V. An drews, Instructor in the Chemical Engineering Department, will speak on “Radar Development”. It is further planned that war vete ran students who have had experi ences of interest to engineering students will appear on later pro grams. Efforts are also being made to bring in prominent out of town speakers. KREAM AND KOW CLUB MEETS FRIDAY NIGHT There will be a meeting of the Kream and Kow Club on Friday night at 7:00 at the Creamery. RIDING CLUB TO ELECT OFFICERS THURSDAY Officers will be elected at a meeting of the Riding Club sched uled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
