But this year, in its endeavor to help the student body as much a$ possible in every way, practically‘every Friday night, or a total of 2S, has been set aside fbr a benefit Show. This move will al low almost every regular organisa tion on thir campus to have one, for the purpose of raising money to aid the 4lub presenting the show. And this year each clab can if it So desires put on the same benefit khow on both Thursday and Friday nights, instead of just one night as in the past Thus the dub obvious ly can raise still more money. The activities committee as signs all dance dates, is in charge of the Bryan-College Entertain ment Series, make, all assign ments for benefit shows, amd man ages other student activities that require special time oiit of dormi tories after Call to Quarters. In that picture Janet Gaynor proved that the not only could net but that she was a good actress. “Three Loves Has Nancy" gives Janet a chance to “shine" in the role of a small town girl gone te the big city. The plot is different, which is something of an accomplishment for Hollywoo.1 and something new. Frnnchot Tone gives a very good performance, as his role is one that gives him a chance to sho his sbility, which he does with th greatest of ease, teamed with 1 ert Mosigomery they carry story well and aak* the picture what it is.
