College a true friend and comrade and his loving " ” kind and noble son: Therefore, we, the Junior class on meeting this day do hereby offer the the following resolution: Be it hereby resolved, that we here by express our deep grief at his un timely death, and our great sorrow at the termination of a happy friend ship and association, but we bow our hearts in humble acknowledgement of the Supreme will. Be it resolved that we express to his stricken family our deepest sym pathy in their great loss and that a copy of these resolutions be sent to them; a copy to the newspapers of Livingston and a copy be publish ed in the Battalion. THE JUNIOR CLASS A. AND M. COLLEGE. ENGLISH DEPARTMENT GIVES CREDIT. Beginning with this year, the Eng lish department will give partial credit on articles turned in to any of the student publications. In the case of the Battalion, the editor-in-chief will submit to the proper instructor in the English department as soon as con venient manuscripts turned in to him for publication and these instructors will grade them and give credit on written work. In writing articles for the Battalion on which credit is ex pected, cadets will please give the name of ther English instructor. Please sign everything you drop in the “Bat” box, and longer articles, when printed, will bear the name of the writer.
