THE BATTALION. 55 MILITARY. HEADQUARTERS CORPS OF CADETS, College Station, Texas, June 8, 1897. 'Special Order No. 33: 1— The members of the first class are relieved from duty at the college to take effect upon their departure therefrom. 2— The members of the second, third and fourth classes are, by direction of tne president, granted leave of absence until the beginning of the next session, to take effect upon their departure from college. 3— The commandant desires to exress his appreciation of the good conduct of the corps of cadets, and of the faith ful devotion to duty of cadet officers, during the past year. 4— The result of the competitive drills held Monday, as determined by the judges, is as follows : Company A, score 91.7, Company B, score 76.2, Company C, score 85.6, Company D, score 92 8. Best drilled man in the battalion, Cadet Sergeant Kerr. Best drilled man in company A, Cadet Corporal Bowen. Best drilled man in company B, Cadet Durham. Best drilled man in company C, Cadet Witwer.
