A&M set for Toto concert Thursday _ Canton, 8/18 for By MARCY BASILE Suit! Writer As part of its “Isolation l our,” the musical group Toto will perform Thursday night in G. Rollie White Coliseum at 8 p.m. The opening act f or Toto is John Parr. Town Hall and Budweiser are sponsoring the performance of the six-time Grammy award-winning group. This is the first concert tour for Toto in almost three years. The “Isolation Tour” will take the group through the southern por tions of the United States concen trating on Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Louisiana. Since the release of the Toto IV album, which brought the group its six Grammys, Toto has been ded icated to producing its latest album — “Isolation.” The group also took on two other major projects before starting the tour. In late 1983, Toto wrotemusictj the movie “Dune.” The group composed the music for thebortl events at the 1984 Summer 01® pits. “Moodido" was written f corded and mixed in a matter 1 days and was featured throuj the games. Political Science Association, who is an internationally recognized con gressional scholar, will visit Texas A&M today. At the invitation of the political science department, Dr. Richard F. Fenno, Jr. will conduct a graduate research seminar at 4 p.m. in Evans Library 204C. Fenno, the Kenan Professor of Political Science and Distinguished Professor of Arts and Sciences at the University of Rochester, is the au thor or editor of six books, indudillf three st udies of the U.S. Congress, One of the studies brought Fenno the Woodrow Wilson Foundation Award for the best book on political science published in the United States in 1978. The same hook also won the Hardeman Prize from the Lyndon B. Johnson Library for the best book on Congress published be tween 1976 and 1978. Fenno also has written more than 15 other articles about Congress and the president.
