Glenn - Broker The man who brought you illus trated histories of the Aggie uniform last year is now working to complete a book on the subject. Walter H. Bradford of Vienna, Va., 1968 history graduate of Texas A&M University and former bandsman, is collecting information and memorabilia on uniforms for a volume he hopes will be published by fall in time for the final days of the Centennial Year observance. His color illustrations and short histories have become known to many Aggies through a June, 1975 cover article in the Texas Aggie (As sociation of Former Students magazine) and the reprinting of the article in the November, 1975 Cen tennial Issue of the magazine. Bradford is continuing his search for information, but is also seeking objects including 1920s embroi dered branch collar patches; 1929-33 cordovan leather side-lace leggings; coveralls with the red emblem on the back from the 1920-47 period; 1933-47 blue-lapeled ROTC blouses; and other blouses, sli| jackets, insignia, shields tons. Bradford began the projectii graduation. He explains thei was “obviously spawned by] membership in the Corps and| Aggie Band.” “But my interest is also prtJ sional, as my present positioni| the National Park Service considerable research in histories tumes and uniforms,” he adds | ISOS are now in Russia Dr. Worth D.
