Dyson of 512 Wil son, Texarkana, Texas, has been named the recipient of a $750 Douglas Scholarship Award for the 1959-60 school year at A&M. Dyson, an aeronautical engineer ing major, will be a senior at A&M next fall. Gov. Price Daniel, in coopera tion with President Eisenhower’s White House Conference on Chil- di’en and Youth, has appointed in terested citizens from throughout Texas to battle the problems of Texas children and youth. The Texas Committee has de cided to work through the local committees in determining the big gest problems facing Texas youth, and the first project is a poll of “grass root” opinion from people all over Texas.
