City Budget Laid $2925 Passed to Co .? ■ - ■: K j I H By DUDLEY HUGHES '• , College Station’s fiscal budget for 1950 -was approved by the city Chamber of Commerce at a meeting held yesterday afternoon in thfe town hall. Twelve committees received ap propriations totaling to $2,925. .Dae of the most Important con tributions was made to the recrea tion Committee, amounting to $600. X This money will be used to facili tate recreation for the younger children of College Station through out the summer, in the form of swimming, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and other forms , of re creation, sponsored daily. The Otter Patrol outscored the other patrols in both the camping classification and patrol projects. The outstanding award was won by the Otter Patrol in competition with ten other patrols in the Camp ing classification and it won over six other patrols in the patrol projects.
