Eddie Murphy starred in Beverly Hills Cop I. //. Ill and many other suc cessful comedies. Individually, Wilson and Murphy created comedic masterpieces, but together, their comedic charm is absent. Wilson and Murphy star as a special agent and a professional boxer, respectively, who work together to stop a bad guy from selling a stolen plane. The movie was released on Nov. I as the big screen version of the 1960s TV series / Spy, which paired Robert Culp and Bill Cosby. The movie and the show are similar in its racially mixed cast and its plot summary, but that must have distracted the four writers of the movie because they forgot the comedy. / Spy has occassional jokes which should, it laughs from the audience, but the previa show the funniest parts of the movie-which, possibly why the movie made $14 million us firsi weekend at the box office.
