After his departure from the grunge band Radish, Kweller took a solo route, which has proven success ful. With Kweller's second full-length album, Sha Sha, he has captured a sound to call his own. Hailing from Greenville, Texas, and currently a res ident of New York, Kweller lays down all the vocals on Sha Sha, and provides his talents on guitar and keyboard. With a sing-a-long vibe, the majority of Sha Sha is upbeat and quirky. In the song "Family Tree," Kweller does an amazing job harmonizing with himself and provides a beautiful track. The upbeat tune "Wasted & Ready" has great electric guitar riffs with a steady beat that flows in and out and keeps it interesting. Kweller's instrumental capabilities do not go unno ticed. At the ripe age of 20, Kweller's lyrics are that of a person who has experienced life from all angles. Kweller sings of profound and thoughtful subjects from an aspect that takes time to digest. From a relationship that has taken a toll on his self-esteem in the song "Walk On Me" to the song "In Other Words," where Kweller sings about beautiful things in life that others ■JPERTINCL ^Lver the $2_ and Co— ■lolder vott= Rntci indust ■c battle, sIh elections ^rast the lam I Empany.
