Big Pauly’s: Tonight at 9 p.m., Thanks for the Update, a local rock band, will perform at the pizzeria. Thanks for the Update is influenced by favorites such as Modest Mouse, Pavement and Built to Spill. There is no cover charge. Fitzwilly’s: Kitty Spankworthy takes the outdoor stage at 9:30 p.m. Cover charge is to be determined. Zapatos Cantina: Wide Open Mic Night, hosted by Chad Boyd, will begin on the porch stage at 8:30 p.m. Musicians are invited to express themselves with cover songs or originals. There is no cover charge. F i Cday Big Pauly’s: Acoustic singer Shane Walker will play a blend of originals and covered songs of the Texas country and blues flavor with special guest, Scott Austin. The show will start at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge. Sweet Eugene’s: Austin rock band Salt will be performing at the cof fee house from 9 p.m. to midnight. Cover is $1. Zapatos Cantina: At 9 p.m., 6 Bridges will perform on the porch stage with acoustic gui tars and harmonization to familiar tunes by Jack-O- Pierce and Cowboy Mouth, as well as some originals.
