Millican said a man killed his ex-wife, their 8-year-old son and fatally wounded himself. The man also shot and wounded their 14-year- old son as the teen-ager tried to escape. Millican said police have no motive, but friends say the woman had recently hired an attorney to try to col lect on late child support payments. Millican said the man, who was from St. Louis, had arranged to have dinner with his sons. The detective detailed a scenario where the man arrived at the home, rang the doorbell and was greeted by the boys. He said the man shot the woman in the head and chased their 14-year-old son out toward the street, shooting at The man then returned to I house and shot his 8-year-old son the head and then himself in theliei Millican said.
