I must have asked my Dad that ques tion a thousand times as a young boy. I wanted to be just like him and I wanted to have an Aggie Ring. Dad gave me valuable advice when he would say, "If you go to Texas A&M and work hard you can earn your own Aggie Ring, just like mine." Even then, I knew I would, and I did. Today, we both have Rings, but they are .not the same. His has worn smooth over time while mine is just now develop ing a character of its own. But the Rings join us in spirit, and remind us of the great ideals of a great university. Still today when we are together, I ask, "Daddy, can I see your Aggie Ring?" Nothing will please me more than the day my son asks me the same question. You can be sure I will tell him the same thing my Dad told me. I am The Aggie Network.
