For everyone else, this game is chocked full of the wackiness and hilarity that made Loony Hines pop ular in the 1950s and 60s. All the characters from the popular animation shorts from the golden era of Loony Times are present. The 3-D adventure mimics the art style of the Loony Times world to near perfection, and in a three-dimensional environment. Every character is wild, creative, well animated and very funny. The music draws from the orchestral style used in the early cartoons and the crazy sound effects are fitting, as well. This is an excellent and hilarious game. It is like playing an actual cartoon with amazingly artistic graphics and fun gameplay. The only downside to this game is it can easily be beaten in 10 hours. Anyone who is a remote fan of Loony Hines should check this game out. (Grade: A-) Kyle Whiiacre Adventure NFL Quarterback Club '99 System: Nintendo 64 Genre: Sports Developer: Acclaim Nintendo 64 is still hard at work when it comes to competing with Playstation for creating sports games. Quarterback Club '99 is surely a step in the right direction, but it lacks much of the personality found in equivalent Playstation games. Quarterback Club '99 brings back memories of Tecmo Super Bowl from the original Nintendo which only a few old timer-gamers will even remember. The only real changes are the addition of a few more plays, defenses and a 3-D graphics engine. The players do not have great moves, not even touchdown celebration dances. T he game is also child-friendly, so that by simply choosing More than 4« hitting a button, the computer will contra it ej most airin. and run the play for the gamer.
