Dickerson hit 58 combined points in the final two regular sea son games, benefiting from the Rockets recent decision to open up their running game and they will need it beginning Sunday in Game 1 of their best of 5-game first round playoff series with the Los Angeles Lakers. “Michael got the quietest 58 points over the last two nights,’’ Coach Rudy Tomjanovich said. "That kid’s potential is unlimited and it happened just at the right time.” Dickerson hit a career high 31 against Minnesota and closed out the regular season with 27 against Denver. He hit 11 of 14 3-point shots over the final two games and ranks No. 6 in the NBA in 3-point accuracy. In those two games he shot 21-for-34 from the field. “We finally realized that we had the capabilities to run,” Dickerson said. “We’ve been able to get some easy points on the transition.
