Amber Fairchild, president of
Howdy Ags and a junior civil engi
neering major, said the organization
assumed control of the project from
the Traditions Council last year so the
week could receive full attention
from its sponsor. She said it is the or
ganization’s only major event, while
the Traditions Council has other re
sponsibilities.
“We’re just trying to keep A&M
the friendliest campus,” she said.

MSC Open Houses. She said there are
more than 100 volunteers this se
