This series has always been close since these two teams usually mir ror each other. Oklahoma State comes into the series riding a five game winning streak with an 8-1 record. They bring in a team that combines a mixture of strong hitting and pitching. Game one of the series will see a pitching duel between two of the top pitchers in the country. OSU will hurl their staff ace Matt Smith against A&M’s lefty ace, Casey Pos sum. Smith, a sophomore from Nevada, boasts a 3-0 record with an ERA under one.
