The wrestler at Richardson's J.J. Pierce High School was charged in ju venile court with aggravated assault in the April 1 9th attack of 1 6-year-old Jason Prickett. Jurors had been deadlocked in the case since deliberations started last Thursday. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge against him, and state District Judge Hal Gaither sentenced him to at tend a military prep school in Philadel phia until his 1 8th birthday. He had faced up to 20 years in state custody before he struck the plea bargain. The teen-ager, who is not being named because he was on trial as a ju venile, testified last week that he had tried wrestling moves on Prickett but had to resort to going for the eyes. "I was extremely scared," the ac cused teen said. During closing arguments Thursday, defense attorney David Scoggins called his client a "man of courage" for de fending himself and his friends. But prosecutors asked jurors if the defendant was "a man of courage or a man you should fear?"
